About Us     

 

I'm Robin Kuleck, a certified financial planner with Kuleck Financial Planning based in Emporium, Pennsylvania. I started my hourly fee-only planning practice because I believe that average Americans like yourself have a critical need for competent affordable professional planning guidance that focuses on your unique circumstances.

 

Typical clients include young adults just starting their professional careers, families with goals such as purchasing a home or financing college for the kids, and mid-lifers wondering if they've adequately prepared for a financially comfortable retirement. I'm especially passionate about working with women whose financial lives may be complicated by careers interrupted by family caregiving obligations, divorce or death of a spouse.

To enhance my financial advisory practice, I am a member of the Garrett Planning Network, an international affiliation of over 300 like-minded professional financial planners who share a common goal: To provide independent, objective financial planning and advice to all people, regardless of their net worth or income level.


Many financial advisors accept clients only if they meet certain income and net worth requirements. I and my fellow Garrett Network members believe, however, that independent, objective financial advice is something all Americans need, at least periodically, to build the brightest financial futures. Embracing this philosophy, I am proud to offer the same quality, professional advice to all clients, not just the affluent.


I have met the Certified Financial Planning Board’s rigorous standards and have earned the right to use the CFP® certification marks in my practice.  A graduate of Cameron County High School, I hold a Bachelor of Nursing degree from Villa Maria College and a Masters Degree in Home Economics Education from Mansfield University. In 2003 I completed my studies with the College for Financial Planning and in 2004 successfully passed the rigorous, comprehensive 10-hour, 2-day Certified Financial Planner exam. Upon completing the 3 year work-requirement and meeting ongoing continuing education requirements, I am a Certified Financial Planner™ in good standing with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. I am also a member of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

 

My passion is to help others improve their financial capability, regardless of income, net worth or education level. My planning practice continues work I was involved with as a county-based educator with Penn State Cooperative Extension serving residents of Cameron, Elk, McKean and Potter Counties in rural north-central Pennsylvania. As the mother of two young adults and now as a grandmother, I have both personal and professional experience in establishing and following household budgets, managing personal investments and college and retirement planning. I am eager to share my experience and expertise to help others navigate through confusing financial decisions. Money issues are touted as the number one cause of marital arguments. Credit issues, debt management, and competing financial goals cause personal and familial stress. Middle-income earners do not know who to turn to or have access to professionals for answers to their financial questions. I work with people to help them identify current strengths and weaknesses and together we develop strategies to achieve their financial goals.


 

While I enjoy spending time with my family breeding and raising huacaya alpacas at the Little Red Barn Farm, my professional goal is to build long-term relationships with clients utilizing my education, experience and expertise to provide financial advice you can trust.
